Maphy Healthcare Limited is registered with the Care Quality Commission for personal care under location ID 1-19426819135. We work in two directions: visiting care for clients in their own homes across Lincoln and the Lincolnshire patch, and supplying trained nurses and carers to local nursing facilities when in-house rotas are short.
Why we exist
Two things happen in care that we want to be a quiet, dependable answer to. The first is the moment a family realises their parent isn't quite managing on their own anymore — and the choice on the table is either a residential placement nobody really wants or a patchwork of friends and good intentions. The second is the moment a nursing-home manager opens a rota for the week ahead and two nights are short. Both moments are stressful, and both deserve a phone call answered by someone local who actually knows what they're doing.
We're a small team — and that's the point. The person who'll plan your care is the person you'll meet first. When a nursing home asks for cover, the carer who arrives knows our standards because we set them ourselves. We don't pretend to be a national chain. We don't take work outside Lincolnshire. We take on what we can do well.
How we recruit and train
Every person who joins Maphy — registered nurse, senior carer, healthcare assistant — completes the same induction before they meet a client. Enhanced DBS, two verified references, mandatory training to the Care Certificate standards (or equivalent for nurses), and shadow visits with a senior member of the team. Training records and right-to-work checks are kept on file and shown to any commissioner who asks.
